45 Coffee Dates

-Weekend Performance in April at The Players Theatre-

Take the humorous and timely rollercoaster ride as Rachel Yardley races against her biological clock to find Mr. Right (and possibly conceive a child).  Can this woman who feels “past her prime” find true love in a city where the odds are against her?

Synopsis

With her biological clock ticking, thirty-eight year old New Yorker Rachel Yardley is propelled into doing something that goes against everything she believes in—Online Dating. Challenged by her sister’s dare to meet 50 men in three months, Rachel rises to the occasion. While desperately speed dating at Starbucks, she questions her past choices in ex-boyfriends, abandonment issues with her father, and why the only unconditional love she has ever known is with her dog.

45 Coffee Dates is as diverse as New York City itself ranging from Mikenstein with a Monster Truck – (“When a man says you’re a ‘classy’, odds are—he’s not”) to millionaire Limousine Lawrence. Discover how Rachel is influenced by Dana-her happily married suburban sister; Maggie—her jaded negative neighbor; and Wendy—her hopeful LA friend who believes men are the same on either coast.  Rachel’s stream of consciousness rings true for many women and gives single men insight into first impressions they may be making.

45 Coffee Dates will appeal to many people with Kasper’s hilarious, topical and touching message that it’s never too late for individual growth…or love!
